I've always loved Audubon's paintings. My maternal grandmother had a couple of his prints framed in her living room and I remember studying them, fascinated by the beauty of the colors and the detail of the birds and their habitat. I would be honored to own this book!

For those of us who have a love for birds, this book is wonderful in that the reader can really get to know the intricate biology of these birds. It is time travel in a way, to see these birds in the way Audubon saw them and why he was so inspired.

I have been a Fan of Audubon since I was child of 3. My Grandfather had some of prints in his home. I was hoping that I would get them but they went to another cousin. Oh, well such is life.
