I was introduced to Edward Lear through my sister who has a deep admiration for his great artwork. My sister is a gifted artist and bird lover and her home and garden are a tribute to her love of art and birds. Her home is filled with Audubon prints she has artfuly framed with love. I adore Edward Lear and as an owl fancier, I have always been gobsmacked by this, the best illustration of an owl ever created.

I saw my 2nd Great Horned Owl

I saw my 2nd Great Horned Owl in my 57 years this Winter. Magnificent. Owls represent a special interest for me. We fortunate from time to time too see Screech & Barred Owls from time to time. Eagle Owls have a great Genus and Species Bubo bubo vs the Bubo virginianus for the Great Horned Owl. Thanks for the offer.
